The other day I finished reading the book by John Stossel, Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity: Get Out the Shovel – Why Everything You Know is Wrong. Long title in full, but it was really an interesting book. It touches on everything from government to education, big business to parenting tactics. With a few points comming out of basic economics, and alot more from his work on 20/20 and the research of his team, he topples many myths and misconceptions that most americans believe. I highly reccomend reading it.
It’s been the first book I’ve really read in a good while; not something that I’m proud of but I’m just glad that I found the time to read it. Hopefully I’ll be able to read more good books like this one in the near future.
