First Test

Well today I took my First Test as a post-graduate student. I can’t say that it was fun or easy, but I think I did well. For those of you who are wondering why I’m back in school, I decided to keep going so that I could keep my job for one, but also and more importantly so that I can work towards a Masters. As far as that goes, I have yet to decide whether to do my masters in Statistics or Computer Science, or if I’ll even continue this little experiment through to completion consecutively. Computer Science is not really filling the need as it were, and I don’t know if I want to do the Math for Statistics. I also miss working full time; not having disposable income is starting to take it’s toll on me. Regardless, I’m here for this semester at least, so I may as well make the best of it. Hopefully I’ll find out how I did on my test on Thursday.

As for the rest of life, not much has changed; still have the same girl, still in school, still living at home, still working at school. My self teaching of C# has taken a backseat to learning ADA, the language that I need to use for one of my classes. However, I still have a couple side projects going. ADA is a different programming style then I’m used to, it’s like a combination of c-style programming and PL/SQL that I learned in Database last year. Ironically I know a few different c-style languages but have yet to learn C or C++, however I did buy a book on C++ to start figuring it out when I get a chance.

That’s about all I have for now, if I find more time I’ll try and update more later.
