As most of you know, I went to El Salvador last year to drill a water well.  One of our team members had a chance to go back, and I thought I’d share it with you.  The album in the photo section now shows pictures from our trip.

As of today, I should be fully moved over to my new web server.  Chances are, this is pretty transparent to you, but that’s good right?  However, it does have some definate tangible benefits.  As you can see, there’s another page at the top, called “Photos”.  I’ve now got the space to host a larger number of photos out here and have switched photo softwares to Gallery2.  Right now, I’ve got alot of pictures from my trip to El Salvador posted, though since there are 191 of them, it’ll take some time to go through them all hehe.  If you want information about a particular picture, just comment on it and I’ll make sure to update that one first. 

In other news, everything else is going “peachy”.

There is a theme in town, and a new page in the top navigation called “Impulse”.  There have been some recent and significant changes in my life, and part of that change is sharing it with everyone.  Impulse is where I want that change to mature.  It’s a story from me, yes, but I would like to open a dialog.  Every page has a comment block, and comments are open to anyone.  Feel free to check it out.  Read more »

I haven’t posted in a while again, but things have been rather busy.  School is in full swing and it has been going well, but it’s a little more work then I was expecting at first.  Things are going well with the apartment situation too, at least, we haven’t killed each other yet.  It’s definately not the easiest semester of my life, but when I look at the big picture, all that I have to sacrifice now to be able to coninue will be worth it in the long run.  I’m looking forward to being able to put a degree on my resume.  It’s not the most important thing ever, but it’s definately a priority in America today.

It’s been another long time since I posted anything, so I thought since I had a little bit of time to pass today I would update everyone on some of the change that is going on, because there has been a lot. 

I suppose there is a time in everyone’s life where they realise that the status quo is not really working out anymore, and where it becomes clear that there is a need for change.  And I guess you could say that when you lose your job, it is that time.  Needless to say, I do not have a job anymore.  I saw it comming, but I didn’t think it would be so soon, and the quickness of my departure was somewhat of a suprise to me.  I had already been looking for something new, but had not found anything.

One of the things I have been thinking about lately is “falling in love”.  I even used the phrase in my last post, “I fell in love.”  But what does that really mean?  Sometimes when I think about it, “falling in love” makes it sound like my feelings for her are some sort of cosmic accident that I am beset with.  And falling never sounds good; “falling down”, “falling off of that building”… I am not sure why we say that we have fallen in love, but we do.  However, for me, love is entirely different.

It’s been a while since I posted last.  There is alot going on in my life, but I can never narrow down anything that I really feel a strong desire to blog about.  However, for some reason I will sit here for a long time every once in a while and try to squeeze something out of my conciousnes into some form of a post, and lately they haven’t even been that.  The last relatively serrious post I made was in September of last year… so I think I am a little bit overdue.  In that spirit, I am making this effort; and as you are reading this, you know I was successful.

I’m going to get personal here - I thought I would warn you up front.  There are changes happening in me - changes forshadowed by the aforementioned post in September.  Changes that have been long overdue, and some that I didn’t see coming until I realized that they had already happened. 

For one, I fell in love.
